One way I did this, was to visualise my inner child on my shoulders when I would go for walks.

Speaking to the inner child especially when you are feeling over-reactive can help nurture repressed pains. It also helps create more resilience in your neuropsychology. Express yourself through creative outlets such as artwork or writing, ask the inner child to help you paint, draw, etc.
4. Seek Professional Guidance: If needed, consider working with a therapist or a coach specialising in inner child work to provide support and guidance throughout your healing journey.
